OUR RECYCLING

At Emerald City Graphics, we do our part to recycle any and all waste paper that we run through the press, the boxes and cardboard that we receive and use, as well as the aluminum plates that we use on our press.

According to Conservatree.com,one ton of uncoated virgin (non-recycled) printing and office paper uses 24 trees. Our recycling total for paper in 2008 was 2,500,180 pounds which would have saved around 30,000 trees.

We also:

  • have an in-house bailer for paper, cardboard, and plastic film/wrap.
  • use reusable plastic pallets (made from recycled plastic) for the presses.
  • have a mixed recycling program that's in place for all bottles, cans, paper, and cardboard.
